# Getting started

## Install for your user account

Open your agent's plugin manager, find **Enhance**, and choose the user-level installation. Project-level installation is an explicit team choice; it is not necessary for ordinary use.

If Enhance is not in that provider's marketplace yet, open the Enhance dashboard, choose your provider under **Connect your AI agent**, and copy the setup prompt. Paste it into the agent. The prompt contains no credential.

The host starts Enhance's pinned local MCP runtime. When the agent checks connection status, Enhance opens browser sign-in. Complete consent in the browser and return to the agent. The credential stays in the local runtime and is never placed in a prompt or MCP configuration.

## Prove the connection

Ask:

> Open my example canvas, tell me what is on it, and render the main screen for us to inspect.

A complete result includes the canvas context and a visual render. A connection badge or a successful tool call alone does not prove the workflow.

## Try a real workflow

- “Design a compact empty state that matches this product.”
- “Publish and visually verify the build folder I selected.”
- “Apply the actionable feedback and leave uncertain comments open.”

The agent reads live capability contracts from Enhance, so an installed workflow does not become a stale command manual.
