# ChatGPT remote Enhance's public OpenAI listing is still being prepared. It is not yet available as an approved directory installation. The remote connection uses Enhance's HTTPS MCP service at `https://api.enhance3.karunalabs.ai/mcp`. It can work with remote canvases and feedback, but it cannot read a build directory or source files on your computer. While the public listing is unavailable, accounts with custom MCP connections enabled can add this URL using OAuth. Once the public listing is available: 1. Open ChatGPT's **Plugins Directory** and select **Enhance**. 2. Review the remote capabilities and choose **Connect**. 3. Complete the standard Enhance OAuth page in your browser, then return to ChatGPT. 4. Verify the connection with a read-only request and open your populated example canvas. 5. Try a remote-capable workflow: inspect canvas structure, render a canvas, create or edit a mock, or action clear feedback. If you ask ChatGPT to publish a local build or reconcile a canvas into local prototype source, it should explain that the [local Codex plugin](/docs/setup/codex) is required. It must not pretend the remote service can read your machine or send you to a command-line workaround. ## Updates and recovery The public directory is a reviewed snapshot. ChatGPT shows a new version only after provider review and publication. If OAuth is revoked or abandoned, open Enhance again from the connection surface and choose **Reconnect**; an incomplete sign-in is never reported as connected.
